Have you taken them at the same time? You can take them at the same time. Also you can take a lot of movicol. At work we give pt's a 1l jug with 6-8 sachets. Check with your care provider if this is appropriate for you. You also need a lot of extra fluids for most of these things to be effective, especially if you've been constipated for a while. If you've tried all of these things and nothing is working, I'd probably go for a trip to ED. Particularly if your in a lot of discomfort. If the stuff you've listed isn't working, you need more help and the longer you leave it, the worse it could get. Good luck.

After trying all of that with no result I would be off to the Dr. As PP said it will only get worse.

Also, depending on how long it's been since you've had a proper bowel movement, you should probably concentrate on getting what's in there out. So stop with the bulking agents like bennefibre etc, concentrate on the stuff to get you moving (movicol, lactulose, I also had success with pear juice. Drank a whole can over a few hours...that got things well and truly moving!). Once you've cleared what's clogging you up for the moment, then you can keep going with the extra fibre, but maybe with a daily dose of movicol or something, just to keep it soft and manageable. This is what I did for the majority of my pregnancy, but again, check with your care provider to make sure this is right for you.
