I had my first session with FS@Genea, I have a genetic disorder, which requires the donor to have a krayotype and a blood spot in order to workup a PCR test for my mutation. Genea has affiliated sperm banks in the states. However, I have to wait for the response from the sperm bank to see if this PCR test can be organised. I don't have my hope high in this case, honestly. From what I am gathering, it probably will be an easier and less costly way to find a local donor. I have no male friends that I can seek for help...what should I do? Any website that I can post an ad? Anyone that has gone through this path ( being look for sperm donor by yourself ) shares some ideas? What to look for, process, costs, etc? I have no clue...need urgent assistance...
