    Default Two child cares?

Does anyone know if it is possible to have your child enrolled in two different child cares?

DD and I live in a small town and I work in a large town approximately a half hour drive from home. DD goes to a wonderful little centre around the corner from my work. I thought it was better to have her at a centre close to my work and it's great, especially as she's very accident prone and I've had to pick her up to take her to the doctor/emergency a few times in the last two years.

Right now, I'm tossing up whether to drop a day at work and work from home one day a week on my own business. I'm hoping to build up my business, so that I can quit my job and work for myself.

The issue is, I don't want to drive my daughter to her daycare and then work from home as it's an hour round trip, so two hours of driving a day.

Can I enroll her in the local daycare whilst she's still at her current daycare? Is it possible to split it? I'm a low income earner and single parent so I get the maximum child care rebate. Can I still get it for both centres?

I'm sure you can. I have worked in centres where some of the kids go to family daycare and also a centre. They still would receive ccb for both.

I use both long day care while I'm at work and occasionally the local occasional day care - I get rebates for both, there's just a cap on the amount they will refund in a year per child
