...I'm not sure there's a benefit to you sleeping horizontally across the bed unless your specific goal is for me to have one butt cheek on the bed and one off!

I'm sure it's so they can karate kick in their sleep! I get a foot to the face or ribs all the tin when DS is in my bed.
