I told him about the nk result today being high and his response was incredulous 'you mean there's cells in there attacking and eating embryos just like PAC man?' Mind = blown. Major wtf moment. I was surprised how shocking this revelation was for him. I was like, yes, hello that's why I had the biopsy. He couldn't get his head around it and had to have a lie down.
Lol our poor men. How they struggle with the ivf information overload...

Yes, anything more complicated than 'in the cup thanks mate' is a bit much to comprehend. Poor thing stresses about getting his train right from the airport to the EPU.

That's great Letsmakeithappen, 5 frozen on day 5! Your chances of pregnancy are super high! Just make sure as the paying customer/patient, you ask the embryologist for plenty of information. Agree with Butterfly, it is almost unheard of to keep growing embies on day 7, would mean they weren't up to scratch by day 6 which is the usual deadline. Hit them up for their reasoning behind what they are doing. Just gotta be our own advocates which is something I've learned after 5 stim cycles!

Loving the banter re b!tch sticks, samples in cups etc! I think every single drug in ivf is a b!tch maker. Then comes the pmt, then af/endo pain. Don't think there are many days of the month that I do feel 'normal'. Ah to be a man and only have to worry about aiming into that cup. Although I do feel a bit sorry for him having to disappear into the 'porn room' (as we call it) and then having to hand that cup to someone. Would be embarrassing. I'd probably rather the stirrups and a needle up the vagina.

All the best Leyshoja, Butterfly and Luckyme for this next cycle.

Geez bub hub is prudish, I just tried to type the word for a female dog and they bleeped it out! Hence the editing!

Good luck @leyshoja I hope you can get started.

Yep, it was my period. Cycle day 1 today. 6 weeks to go to EPU. I feel pretty underwhelmed I have to say.

Wow 5 frozen @LetsMakeItHappen! Thats great! Yesterday was day 5 isn't it? So that means the other 12 embryos are being grown to day 6 today? Sounds right to me unless I've missed something. Your chances are great you lucky thing. I have frosty envy again

Yeah don't get me started on the 'porn room' lol DH actually likes the room (creeper! Lol) ... Yeah he's always so red in the face and sweaty when he comes out, must be putting some effort in there I guess, I just can't fight the feeling that we get the raw end of the deal haha. Really related to what one of the girls said in an earlier post, 'looking forward to spending money on something other than having my vagina needled.' I'm so there.

Ha! Vagina needled, hilarious. I have emby envy too, let's make it happen. That's a great result for someone over 40.

My DP refuses to produce sample in the "room". So it's a mad rush up the highway to get it there in time. I'd laugh if he ever got pulled over for speeding and had to explain why!!!

Hi Butterfly39, I have no idea as it's my first EPU. Time will tell, I will be getting another call tomorrow.
