Leyshoja I am so sorry that the second scan wasn't a happier result, four frozen embies are waiting patiently for you. I think a double transfer is a good idea too.

The problem is the donor was only 34 so their policy is 1 per transfer. I'll fight that battle soon I guess

Leyshoja.... so very sorry to hear that things are not progressing. I've never had a BFP, but I think it's just so unfair for someone to have gotten that BFP, only for it to not turn out. Thinking of you xx

Smiley.... congratulations on your BFP. I must have missed a couple of pages of posts, as I didn't realise that you were cycling again. How many frosties did you end up transferring? It sounds like your FS is super confident that everything is going to go smoothly from now on. Hope that rubs off on some of us too.

GnH.... good luck for your EPU tomorrow, if it's still going ahead.

hi, I'm new here. hope it's ok to jump in. I'm on my 2nd icsi cycle, had 3dt last week so am now 8dp3dt (I think). BT on wed. having a few light cramps/twinges. just hoping AF doesn't come over next few days. this cycle I did accupuncture and some meditation mp3 files (I think she hypnotises me . I get quite relaxed when I do the breathing exercises and listen each day) so have been more relaxed (as I get quite stressed at work). am 43 atm but 44 next week, so hoping this embryo is a good quality one, given the stats for my age. the first cycle I had 3 follicles (only left side worked), though 1 was small. 2 eggs, both fertilised, 1 x 5dt but BFN, 1 was frozen. I think the accupuncture (or something) helped this cycle with follicles as I had 8 on right, 6 on left, though 4-5 large ones. 4 eggs collected, 2 were mature. once again 2 eggs fertilised and 1 3dt, the other didn't make it to day5 (it tried). so 2 seems to be my number so far. I'm just hoping the one transferred is the good one and it's still growing. it's hard not knowing, and these last few days waiting are the worst I think.

good luck to everyone. wishing you all well

Good luck @winsor, the fact that you're still getting plenty of follicles is a great sign !

thanks @leyshoja, appreciated. I was hoping we'd get more to freeze this time, but it wasn't to be. have to keep remembering, I only need one good one. (actually, so I remember in future there were 6 on left first cycle too. 3 very small. 2 large, 1 just behind that was too small on epu day so didn't have an egg) I'm not sure if they usually respond same each cycle as the largest on epu day was on left, so i'm wondering if my right side doesn't work at all wrt mature eggs.

sorry to hear about your cycle, I hope you're coping ok. it's so tough
