@amyd, not really a recipe as such. Masa Lista flour (stoneground white corn flour) mixed with just enough water to make a paste. If you want soft tortillas you dry fry in a pan, or shallow/deep fry for crispy ones (they puff up - so yummy).

I make cream cheese & sauces mainly. I try to make as much as I can from scratch, and I have a huge list of things to try when I'm on uni holidays!

1kg red chilli
1 onion, peeled and quartered
3 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup fish sauce
In a food processor, add in the chilli, onion and garlic, process until it's like a rough mince
heat oil in a wok add in the chilli mixture and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add in the remaining ingredients, mix well and bring to a simmer, turn the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
Taste and adjust seasonings - If you feel like it needs more saltiness add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, sweeter - 1 tablespoon brown sugar, pour into jar and keep in fridge

I make most things from scratch, but cheat with a bread maker for bread. My favourite thing is making cheese! I make camembert, feta, brie etc. only when I have time though. Less since my bubs came along.
If anyone is interested I get all the gear and info at cheeselinks.com.au (no I'm not affiliated with them at all! Just found it easy and helpful)

I'm pretty good with baking - when I bake it's pretty much all from scratch.
I've been super lazy lately but I used to make our own bread. No bread maker or anything. Now I just make it when I'm making a soup or stew. Should get back into it.
Pasta sauces are easy when you get the hang of them.
Marinades I make myself. Honey mustard and honey, soy and garlic are the most popular here, although satay is good too.
I'm sure there's more... But subbing at the moment for ideas!

Subbing. I'm breastfeeding DS (15wks) and he was diagnosed with CMPI this week. Trying to decide if I'll continue breastfeeding but in the meantime I need to cut all dairy out of my diet, which means more cooking from scratch.

@Cue mynewroots is a great site with lots of simple dairy free recipes. Also green kitchen stories has quite a few as well. They both call for fancy pants ingredients but I make do with what I have/like.
