I'm having one of those miserable days and could really use some advice.
I’m about to start my 4th round of Clomid.
I did a blood test during my first round to check if I ovulated, and I did.
My specialist didn’t see a reason for me to continue doing blood tests if it worked first time. So hopefully I ovulated every time since, I don’t know for sure :s
He asked me to do 6 rounds and come back and see him after if it didn’t work.
But after 3 unsuccessful tries, I keep thinking, What is going to change?
So I’m wondering, Should I go back and see him now or wait til the end of the 6 months?
Is there something I can get him to put me on as well as Clomid for the last couple of rounds?
What is the next step after failed Clomid? Is it pricey?
If anyone can share their thoughts/advice or a similar journey, that would really help!! Thanks

Ovulating with Clomid - PCOS

Having just had this conversation with my FS not 15 mins ago, he has said our next option would be IVI - in vitro insemination - where they basically spin down the sperm and inject the best of the bunch into your uterus a few hours before ovulation is due. My tubes are good, my ovarian reserve is good, I do have PCO but am asymptomatic and DHs swimmers are ok. There's no obvious reason for us that it's not working. I'm on my 4th cycle of clomid now and my FS has decided to give me a trigger injection that I'll do tomorrow night to expect ovulation sat morning. Otherwise I'll just keep plodding along.
ETA - FS said IVI is capped at about $500 out of pocket. I'm not sure if this is just QFG, but I got the impression that it's a standard cost through all fertility clinics.

For my first it took 5 rounds of clomid to get my bfp. Do you take your temps too? Mine definately show ovulation with a dip then rise for the tww. Im on clomid again now and im not being monitored so I use this to see how im going. If it shows your not oing then take that to your fs to show you need more help.
I use fertilityfriend to track my temps. Good luck!
