My almost 3yo loves stickers. Either to stick on a piece of paper, or to stick on me. Keeps him quiet for ages.

He also loved the little toilet roll people we made. We then made a car and a house for them out of boxes.

He's also really into gluing things and can spend a lot of time doing this so we do lots of collages

Anything with stickers and or glue.

Robots - Get a box and cover it with foil then glue on bottle lids, paddle pop sticks, anything you want.

Tissue box guitar- elastic bands around the hole and a long cardboard roll at the top.

Collage - draw his favourite character, cut up tissue paper/coloured paper together and glue it on.

Salt dough ornaments - make salt dough, cut out with cookie cutters or make handprints, dry and paint.

i used to hang butchers paper on the fence or laid it on the path and filled water spray bottles with watery paint and let the kids spray paint,... they loved it and we made gift wrapping paper with their designs... my mum even framed one masterpiece
