    Default Depression and maxalon

Hey ladies, if there are any ladies who are using maxalon to increase your milk supply please be aware that this drug should no longer be prescribed for bf mother's due to the fact that it can lead to depression. Like anyone with a newborn needs another reason to get all emotional! My doctor accidentally prescribed it and I spent the whole week depressed and crying and feeling overwhelmed. My eyesight also got really blurry. My midwife picked up on the mistake and recommend motilium instead. As soon as i stopped the maxalon I felt 100 % better. It's amazing the difference and the neg effect a medication can have. Anyway I have been on motilium for 3 weeks now and have had 0 negative side effects. I hope this helps someone. Good luck.

Not maxolon related.. But how much has your supply increased since taking motilium? I started taking it a few weeks ago.

Strange, I was on mottilium and when I went to the gp to get a repeat(not my reg gp)he wasnt keen to give it to me, he much preferred maxalon. Something along the lines of its a safer drug??? I did question him and said in the past I was always prescribed motillium. Great, I do have a history of depression. Something to watch.

It's a little better. .but not hugely. Honestly I noticed much more difference with the lactation cookies and drinking more water!
