Hi ladies. It's so hard to scroll back and forth and type on my phone.

Leaving this glorious city this morning. The Aussie dollar goes a long way.

I loved getting out of the city along with investigating it. I caught the train and local buses but Uber for taxis was amazing. It's the first time I've used them and I don't think I could go back now. My hughlights were probably weekend food fair near Stellenbosch by strawberry picking and a picnic at Spier Winery. I also loved my big day photographing with a local photographer, and th e panorama I got from Lions Head was phenomenal. I went to Camp Bay Market at Hout Bay yesterday (thankfully dropped early by cab) and I have never seen such beautiful fresh food and goods. I got the most gorgeous hand knitted bear as a souvenir.

Off today to Bali for the rest of my 2ww. My blood test is scheduled the morning I hit the ground in Oz. Oh my.... this has gone really quickly.

Best wishes to all the February ladies. I wish you well for a fantastic outcome and an amazing trip. I totally agree, that if this cycle fails I have loved my time here and it's so easy to return for FET.

KMP so glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Cape Town and thankyou for the lovely visuals - I'm very much looking forward to being their soon. I would love to see your photo of Lions head..

We too loved Spier Wine Farm, we are booked to stay there for our last few days - the breakfast there is AMAZING! And the general atmosphere is so relaxing.

KMP - when you hit reply to the thread a little icon of a picture will appear (as will a little camera icon and the Twitter bird)
If you press the pic icon it will allow access to your camera roll on your phone (if your security setting allow it)

Thank you KMP for the amazing photos! What a stunningly beautiful country.

I just wanted to share with you all that over the weekend I found the right moment to discuss the idea of SA with my DH (after a few cocktails!). He was amazing, and despite his reservations he is now fully on board . He even started talking about going early with our son (because I have very few vacation days at work), and what they could go and see and do!

I am totally relieved and happy, and feel like we can move on to finding and confirming a donor, and making real plans. We are aiming for early May. Is anyone else aiming for May?

    Happy days, Kay

Great news Kay! They'll love it.. I'm looking at May, but probably late May depending on getting my period back again post pregnancy.

    Hi emski

Congratulations on little Edie! And great that you want a second right away - they'll grow up so close.
I guess we'll know closer to the time whether our dates overlap.
    Kay
