    Default Ex vent

Just a vent because I'm so frustrated. I split from exDH in January. We have put the house on the market as it needs to be sold, done lots of work to get it ready.
Had home open on the weekend and had two offers on the house, one which was quite a good one. I said to the agent that I want to accept it, he has turned it down because he wants more money.
If it hasn't got an offer by the end of November the bank is going to take it. I have no idea what sort of game he is playing but I'm feeling so frustrated and that this is completely out of my control and that I don't have a say.

    Again just a vent.

That is very frustrating. Have you spoken to a family lawyer yet? Can they come to some sort of mediation agreement that will stop him from preventing the sale of the house under a certain price?

I'm not sure if they can, but it might be worth an ask.

Would you suck it up and tell him how smart his real estate decisions are and then suggest he recontact the real estate agent to see how much more 'HE can get out of those people' ? They are unlikely to have offered their best price on the first offer but if you can make your ex think he's 'awesome at real estate' then it might get you the result you want. Then later have a giggle and uncross your fingers.

Just to update, exDH has decided to accept the offer on the house. So finally canoe forward with everything. I had just let him be and let the agent deal with him. Seemed to have worked.
    Thanks for your help ladies
