    Default Dark yellow wee

    Hi ladies just looking for some advice! DD is 14 months and I've noticed the last few days that her wee is really dark yellow. She isn't dehydrated (drinking plenty and normal amount of wet nappies) and she hadn't been eating lots of orange things or citrus. She is eating normally and sleeping fine. Doesn't seem more tired than usual or anything else out of the ordinary except the dark wee! Any ideas?

    Maybe time to increase water intake?

    Has she been having lots (and I mean lots and lots) of Vegemite or other things that contain lots of b vitamins?

    Is she otherwise well? Blood in urine from a UTI can make it an orange colour.

    ETA just noticed you said she's well, hopefully not a UTI but perhaps keep it in mind just in case, my DD seemed well when she had UTI.

    She only drinks water and then has a very short bf before bed. She has access to her water all day and is quite happy to drink it - I do make sure she is drinking regularly as well

    I'm not sure what would contain those. She has porridge for breakfast, fruit for snack, cheese spread sandwiches with avocado, strawberries and grapes for lunch, and then whatever we have for dinner with yoghurt for pudding. Her diet hasn't changed which is why I'm confused as to why her wee has.

    It's more a dark yellow colour - like it would be if she was dehydrated but she isn't :-/
