mine did this about 3 days after my c section - your body is retaining water which causes the swelling so drink lots of water, eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies and no starchy, salty or processed foods, it should go down in a day or two!

I had had c-section last week. My hands were swollen for a few days. Home now and hands back to normal. At the time the nurses were not concerned.

I was so swollen after mine that I had to wear compression tights even after I got home. I couldn't fit my shoes! It will go down. Keeping your feet elevated as much as you can will help.

I hated the swollen ankles and feet after my csection but what I hated more was the horrid night sweats. It meant the swelling went down quickly but I hated waking up drenched in sweat
