I was born in '78 and very popular boys names at my schools were Michael & Daniel. For girls it was Rebecca and Michelle.

Other names I recall being pretty common were Amy & Luke.
We are the same age. I went to school with a heap of Rebeccas, Matthews, Davids, Emilys, Michaels and Rachaels.

I was born in 1984 and there was always more than one Jennifer in the class! Sarah and Andrew seemed pretty popular. And Chris.

I'm born in 1982 & was in class with about 4 or 5 other Rebecca's. 😩 It's why I refuse to choose a top ten/twenty name for my kids now!

Jessica, Amanda & Sarah were also popular.

For boys it was James, Matthew & Luke I think.
