Default What names are common/popular in YOUR age group?

What names do you recall being really popular or do you identify as being common with your age group?

I was born in the very late 70's and I recall that Kate/Katie seemed to be the most common girl's name. For boys, it seemed to be Matthew.

Other names I recall being pretty common were Amy & Luke.

I'm a mid 80s baby. Adam was massive for boys. I seem to remember quite a few Sarahs as well.

I was born in the mid 80's and the most common names were Matthew, Andrew, Daniel, Michael, Sarah, Jessica, Lauren. I know several people with the same names and I confuse DH about which Jess or Andrew I'm talking about!

I was born in the mid 80's. In my school classes, Sarah and Jessica were the most popular names (there were always at least two or three in each class). Also, Melissa, Kristy, Emma, Emily, Rebecca and Kate. Andrew, Michael, Aaron, James, Ben, Tim and Matthew were popular boys names.

I was born in 1981 and Kylie was the most common girl's name and probably Andrew the most common boy's name at school.
