Are there any expecting women (in the Brisbane area) who would be open to the idea of a student midwife following their pregnancy journey?
I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Midwifery, and as part of my course (and more so the beauty of the course) I am required to follow a number of women throughout their pregnancy right through to 6 weeks postpartum. There would be no physical involvement, unless consent is provided by yourself, however the concept is called 'The Continuity of Care Experience' and allows myself to form an integral relationship with you and most importantly provide support throughout your journey.
I am more than happy to forward through additional information should you be interested!
All the best for your pregnancy and know that there is support for you.
