If you're talking about a fake serial killer like Freddy Kruger then I think yes. If you're talking about a real one that has killed real people then he'll no!

Although, should a 9 year old have seen movies with Freddy Kruger?

I don't think it appropriate for anyone to dress up as a serial killer. EVER.

Movie/tv killers not my style, I don't like it but yeah whatever.

    Not me.
I didn't think it was right!

My son wants to go as "Jason" because his friends at school are :-/ But I said no.

I cant see the difference between going as a serial killer than going as a Nazi or a sex offender to be honest!

Not in my world, no way - fake or otherwise.

My DS is 7 and he has no concept of murderers let alone serial killers. I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible.

Is that the dude with the Hockey mask?

I've seen plenty of people over the years (in photos) dress up as him.

Personally, I'm not "in' to Halloween, maybe it's okay' in the Halloween world?

Not appropriate for anyone of any age to trivialise murder of any kind. Ever.
