O is now about a week late.
That does sound like a long time hun, hope things become clear soon. I can't help much as I have a love/hate relationship with the sticks as they haven't worked for me in the past so don't use them.

I spoke to our fs yesterday and he said if I haven't got AF by the 20th of this month to call him and he will put me on a pill to induce AF so we can do our next round of iui before he goes on holiday in March. So I'm happy to have a solution and know we can do iui in start of march. Fingers crossed second time round lucky! I'm finally feeling about 95% right after the op. Fs thinks I've stretched my abdominal muscles, yay for me, and that's why I'm getting cramping pain post op.

    How are you doing?

Yes. You can discuss the ovarian drilling with your fertility specialist and if u decide it's not for you, you don't consent for it. My husband and I had discussions and decided not to proceed with it as we were planning to go for IVF anyway if the lap didn't show anything. We discussed this with my FS and she was agreeable and so I had just laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She was understanding and just said u have to feel comfortable. I'm not sure if it was the right decision but it's the one we felt most comfortable with.

I had acupuncture yesterday and he did a lot of work on my abdomen. It's feeling a lot better since that.

Sorry if you already told me this, will you be doing ivf or iui this next cycle? I feel like you said ivf but I cant remember sorry

I think we started it around the same time as you. I'm doing it for my anxiety and to increase blood flow to the uterus. It's helped with my anxiety. Dp is also doing it to increase sperm count. We are taking Chinese herbal tea as well. Why are you doing it?

I initially started the acupuncture for fertility so yes improving blood flow yo the uterus to improve lining and my acupuncturist did ahe long term she could improve egg quality which I think mighr be a long shot. She also works on my anxiety too but haven't seen much improvement to be honest. Dh did go too at one point but gave up not long after. She suggested the chinese herbs but we had a bad experience a long time ago with a lady charging us a fortune for every concoction under the sun so avoid them personally.

Hi @Heyside how you doing? Any sign of AF yet for you? I wasn't expecting AF until the weekend but started getting spotting last night, which isn't unusual for me to get spotting a few days out. I'm actually excited about it as fs was going to put me on some pills to bring on AF so we could get in a round of iui before he goes on holiday mid march. So looks like it should happen naturally and we will do iui around 27/28 feb depending on when AF shows. My abdomen is pretty much 100% now which I'm very happy about, even back to sleeping on my belly, yay.

Hope AF shows for you soon and you can start your ivf cycle 🤞

In the acupuncture, it's hard to know if it's working or not, but when we do next iui we will ask for a sperm count and if we see and increase I would put it down to the acupuncture and herbs as it was going backwards. I'll let you know!
