Mine always comes off when home, when you take it to a jeweller they will tell you (especially of you have a large diamond) to take the ring off when home because wear and tear will damage the claws or they could get caught and the diamonds potentially fall out. Mine comes off at night and back on before I walk out the door oh and congrats!!

24/7 unless im doing something grubby with my hands or something that could potentially damage it. I love wearing my engagement ring!

Congrats on your engagement OP.
I only put my engagement ring on when I go out, otherwise as soon as I am home again I take it off and put it away. I just keep it in the box it came in in a secret drawer.
My wedding ring stays on al the time, which is ironic considering it's the way cheaper one of the two!

I take mine off as soon as walk in the door. I never wear it in the house, or bed and shower. It looks great for almost 11 yeas old.
I store mine in a lovely tea cup sitting up top of the display shelf. This prevents my son finding it!

Congrats and I take mine off all the time.
I just throw it anywhere lol (table, bench etc) since pregnancy it annoys me I'm not sure why! Even my bracelets etc.

Up high and in a jewellery box. They come off to shower, swim, any manual labor like washing dishes, and sleep. I have a small jewellery box in the kitchen as well. Definitely don't sleep with it on - it weakens the setting. It's even recommended to take it off to wash your hands but I'm too afraid to do that and lose it especially in public. But the reason for that is in case the diamond falls out & goes down the drain. Beware chlorine can be damaging to white gold & it's not great overall on other metals either.
Make sure you get the setting checked at least once a year at the jewellers too

I only wear my engagement ring matching eternity ring and wedding band on special occasions or when I dress up. They are pretty big and clunky and I find they get in the way or stuff gets caught in them. For everyday wear I have a plain gold band that is really comfy that never comes off my finger.
