    Kelly I really hope Mondays scan brings you good news. It sucks when cycles don't go to plan

    @Kelly70 disappointing to hear this cycle has been far from smooth, its good Lynn is letting you stim til Mon and can track some progress. Grow lil follies! If for whatever reason you have to cancel, all the meds you used for HRT is not lost right? doesn't it help your body anyway and the benefits follow through to next cycle? like Lynn said you may even get a better result next time.

    @Essence08 hey lovey you would have had a few more jabs since the first one and am sure you are becoming a real pro at it. I got my jabbing down to about 15 seconds, including loading needle and applying dosage and you will get to a point where its just like popping a pill. I know you can feel a bit shell shocked at first with the whole IVF thing but it is amazing what we get use to real quick out of necessity.
    @KayzB nearly 1 week down. Hang in there xx are you a poas'er or will you hold out?

    @straycat hi hun, 4dpt today. Feels like it's been longer than that tho. And nope I hold out till BT; always seem to be able to tell by then whether it's worked or not anyway.
    I'm doing my BT on Fri instead of Sat, so least I won't have to go drag myself in on the weekend. Fri I also have after-work drinks, so if BFN I shall be drowning my sorrows!
    How are you hun? xx

    @straycat - I'm not sure if the growth hormone (which is not the same as hormone replacement therapy) stays in the system awhile - I sure hope so, that would be awesome! I've accepted now that this cycle could be cancelled - first one is often a trial run esp with a difficult case like me! I'm kind of still thinking they may grow with the higher dose from what I know of my body. I think the Menopur is gentler than gonal f so I'm thinking a higher dose earlier on would have been better. Elonva to get the numbers then a higher dose of the fsh to get them growing. I'm kind of hoping the age issue hasn't contributed to the 4 follies not having enough energy to grow.. Maybe I'm only capable of growing one at a time. Who knows.

    How are you traveling @straycat?

    Hugs to the pupo ladies, the pregnant ladies and those cycling!
    @sophdask hope you're traveling okay hon.

    @lilypily - were they close to 20mm or did they not grow? 900 is huge. I stimmed on 600 gonal f and got 3 follies, 2 eggs, neither fert. But they did grow to a mature size. Hoping these little ones pop up over the weekend. I need one or more at 12mm not to cancel. Anyone know why you're not allowed to just keep stimming if they are really slow growing? I understand if they stopped growing altogether.

    @lilypily whoa 900 gonal is a whole pen. Did you have to buy a whole extra fridge for that cycle? I find all the drugs take up so much space. I still have drugs that I have not used in the fridge and debating whether to throw it out or not (only had since july so not out of date) nurse thinks I should throw them out.
    @Kelly70 I may be getting HRT and HGH confused. I do not know much about it but had heard human growth hormones is great for women aged 40+ IVF success rates. There are controlled studies done on this. It is very possible follies grow more than the average of 2mm a day so they have some time this weekend to have a growth spurt. I have heard of people stimming til day 20 but not longer than this, unsure why they can't keep going but it could be that the follicles are growing too slow and the egg will be no good if there is one in there.

    @Neetu76 are you still around? you ok?
    @Sue77 and @sophdask thinking of you both x
    @lileitak jabbing this week?
    @lilypily you ok? so far so good? when will you tell everyone including Max? after 7 week scan?

    AFM - thanks for all you ladies that have asked after me, I feel pretty great. I am so happy to be resting and a lot of tension has left my body and mind is clear. I can even get through whole days now without random crying outbursts. (I'm not really a cry baby usually so returning to my old self) sometimes I feel sad at the thought of maybe not having kids but can usually push through that negative chatter in my head. My husband has delayed reaction and the ups and downs of this year is only catching up with him now. I know I have only done 2 cycles this year but they were far from nice text book cycles plus with all the endo operations, recovery time and other crappy tests, it's taken a toll.
