Subbing I took it with my last pregnancy and got pregnant with my baby girl first month of taking it. We are trying again next month and I was thinking of taking it again as I have been using OPKs and it looks like my LP is only 9-10 days!!!

I took 2000mgs a day (2 tablets) and stopped when I found out I was pregnant....

I started taking vitex this cycle. I haven't taken it before this. I got pregnant with my daughter with OI. I thought I would gove this a go before going on injections again. Usually my cycles are 36 days, but currently day 40. I had gastro this week so I missed a few doses. Do you think this is why AF hasn't shown up? My naturopath is away so I cannot ask her. Also my FS isn't too keen on me taking them. Not sure what to do?!

It's meant to help regulate cycles so I don't think it will lengthen the time until AF but I really don't know.

I found my cycle was the same days I just o'd 2 days earlier and got my bfp!!! I would give it a few months to build up before writing it off personally but it also depends on whAt the experts say as they know a lot better...

AFM - I took 2 tablets (2000mg) at the beginning of the month and woke up to a cracker of a headache so am now only taking 1 and one mega b vitamin.- in not trying this month am only just curious if it does impact my Lp???

I took it and it didn't do anything for me.

I told my fertility specialist I was taking it and she told me to throw it out!

    Hope this helps.

I have pcos and wasn't ovulating. Vitex did nothing to shorten/regulate my cycles. I took soy isoflavones to get me to ovulate in the end. Good luck x

I'm taking 1000mg a day, on my third cycle. It hasn't helped lengthen my LP yet, but it has made me O earlier. I'm also taking Mega B.
I used it when TTC#1 and got a BFP first cycle using it.
    Good Luck.

I have short cycle and very short luteal phase, took vitex for a couple of cycles, didn't notice any difference. No idea if I was taking enough or if it wouldn't make any difference regardless of the dose. Compared to other options it is cheap and easy to try I suppose. Good luck.
