Hi ladies, I'm new to all this!! I have just finished 6 months on Clomid with no great results and so my dr had referred us for IVF.
I fly down to perth on Sunday for our first appointment on Monday with Pivet!!
We are both feeling a bit nervous and excited and don't really know what to expect 😁
Any tips on what to expect to start with? What happens etc?
I'm a little complicated have a stonosis of the cervix and endometriosis, and they recently found a new cyst on the left ovary! I've not been ovulating at all for the past six month, even on 100mg of chlomid! So my dr suggested we go straight to ivf!

Thanks for the reassurance!
@loulabubble so glad you said that you experience tummy troubles from the pessaries. I was starting to freak out that I had caught a tummy bug just in time for transfer!!!
I allowed myself a small coke today as I was feeling so ill. OMG... baby cheeses, such sweet relief!!! The nurses said no need to cancel the transfer unless it progresses to voms or diahoreah. So we are still all systems a-go!
Took the day off tomorrow so I can zen-out pre and post-transfer.

hi @Littlegem starting IVF was exciting for me too, hope it brings you a little bundle of joy not sure what to tell you to expect as there are different approaches depending on clinic and particular issues but for me I found the thought of the injections worse than the reality (in fact by the end of my first cycle I was enjoying the little daily ritual as it made me feel like I was doing something positive) but I find the lack of being able to plan my life around ivf frustrating so hopefully you are a bit more easy going with that than me! good luck for your appt Monday.
