@misskittyfantastico my sincerest condolences my love xx It's like losing a family member hon, I am so sad reading that. She was obviously so very dearly loved.
I lost my little Chippy (cat who looked like a chipmunk, lol) quite recently, she was only a few years old and as fit as a fiddle, when one morning DS left the house to go to school and found her lifeless on the front lawn. No apparent injuries, we'll never know how she died. I still cry thinking about her to this day.
    Big love, big hugs x

Oh @misskittyfantastico when our beautiful white cat Audrey was put to sleep a couple of years ago my eldest cried harder than I'd ever seen her cry before. The way cats worm their ways into the hearts of a family is both wonderful and heartbreaking as we know one day they will leave us.

Sending lots of love. We are getting cats next year after we move and I'm excited but also dreading it as I know my kids will fall in love.

Hugs and sympathy for you, @misskittyfantastico. So tough... At least she's not suffering any more.

Miss Kitty, what a beautiful photo. I am so sorry for your loss and I know that feeling, we lost our beautiful girl a couple of years ago, and I had her since 1997 when I was sans kids, and despite her living a long life, it hurt like hell and still does when I think of her or see her old food bowl etc. Our remaining Cat is getting on now too and I am fraught with worry of losing her too.

A beautiful friend of mine (who isn't a Cat lover at all) knew how much she meant to me and bought me a lovely charm for my Pandora bracelet, it was so sweet and a lovely little reminder of my first fur baby.

Lot's of love and hugs to you all. xx

Thanks so much for the empathy.
My girl made this and it's taking pride of place on the wall because she always says it best.

I realise it has our surname in it but I'm ok with that.

Exactly right. She had a lovely long life with you, so loved. Our old lady cat was ready to go a few years back. Still sad about it at times. Sniff. Sorry, that probably doesn't help... Pets really become part of the family, don't they?
