I have a white gold engagement and wedding ring which need to be re-plated every year or so as they get quite dull when the rhodium wears off. Unfortunately michael hill didn't have their lifetime care packages that they seem to have now when we bought the rings, so I have to pay each time. The price has gone up to $50 per ring to get them replated! (Was $35 when I got married 5 years ago) Is this the general price everywhere or is this expensive?
How much do you pay?

Having looked around the jewellers near where I live I found $50 to be the lowest. Most were $60-$65 but would do it cheaper with all three of mine. In fact I just had them done and they look amazing. I must admit this is the first time In 5 years though I've had them dipped.

I had mine dipped just recently at Michael Hill. It was $55 per ring. That's the cheapest I've come across.

I usually get all 3 of mine done at Michael Hill for $75 - the last time was 18 months ago and they still look great - I really hope the price hasn't gone up that much.

Not sure where you are located but if it's melbourne there are a couple of dio oro jewellery stores around and they only charge $30 per ring. I got mine done last year and it has lasted much longer than when I had Michael hill do them the time before for some reason.

Thanks ladies! I'm in Brisbane. I wasn't offered a discount for getting two rings done, But it seems $50 might be the average rate
