Went and saw him today he wasn't happy to see me at all. Told me he hated me and never wanted to see me again.

    I'm sorry.

Just remember that he's in a bad place and once he sorts it all out he'll thank you for sticking by him.

I couldn't read and not post. Even though it feels awful, you are doing the right thing for him. He obviously needs help, and hopefully he can get it at the hospital. I also agree with the others who have said a support group for grief or victims of crime or something similar. It helps to know you aren't alone when you are suffering, and generally -that is exactly how you feel when you have PTSD (I've had it in the past). You just feel completely alone and unable to get out.

    Good luck

May you have the strength and courage to cope with your son's condition. Thinking of you.

So now they want to let him go as he is medicated and they don't think he is a threat to himself.

Oh don't let them. It's ok to get the meds in order but he needs intensive therapy

Both the hospital and physical therapist want us to move him off of the pain killers for his back to deep tissue massages. But i am not sure worried that might hurt him more then help him.

    Hi Mom0120,

I agree with Mummy12. Still upholding you and your son in my prayers. Have you thought what you would do if he is discharged?
