    I really don't care what they call me. I just want to be involved in their life's. For me it more about the relationship. That said I would be uncomfortable with my first name only but I won't stop them if that's what they decide.

    I have no idea. If my kids are desperate for me to be called something in particular then I'll probably just be called whatever they want to be called. We just told our parents to pick what they wanted to be called, as long is it wasn't too close sounding to mum/mummy I did not care (I know a grandma who gets called 'mama' by her grandkids and I wouldn't be happy with that as a mother).

    If I was choosing I'd probably go a version of nana/nanny/nan as that seems to be the trend in my maternal family.

    oh jeez, I thought I felt old just having a baby and hearing people refer to me as mum/mummy. So not ready to contemplate being a grandmother!
    That said, nanna FTW
