With so much bad being shoved in our faces, its hard to remember the little, everyday good things. What have you done to brighten someones day? What has someone done for you?
Mine would be....
When my car broke down last week and I was stranded on the side of the road with 3 kids, no phone and no baby bag (was ducking out for school drop off). A lovely man pulled over and asked if I needed a hand. He ended up staying with me for 3 hours while I waited for racq then the tow truck, and dropped the kids and I home. He also went and bought the kids some cold drinks and food and when I asked how much I owed him, he refused any payment and said he just wanted to make sure the kids and I got home safe. I didnt think people like that existed anymore.
The other day at coles, a boy probably mid primary school age was at the self serve check out beside me. He went to pay for his things and realised he didnt have enough money. Almost in tears he asked the assistant if he could put some things back. I tapped her on the shouler and handed her the amount the boy was short. The little boys face lit up and he thanked me. The look on his face was just beautiful.

Aww I love this thread already!
I told a girl yesterday that the long size sticker that comes on the back of jeans when you buy them was still on her jeans in Woolies, not sure if that counts? Haha
Last week I was feeling really down and an acquaintance came and picked DD and I up, took us to the market, bought me flowers and lunch and dropped me home again. Just a really lovely and kind gesture when she knew I was down.
