Just did some looking up on these, I've seen a thread either on here or somewhere else about them and I've been trying to find it but can't, but these sell for under $10, I can't seem to find anywhere that proves they are safe (my bet is because common sense says there not)
This is the only website I can find for the brand "baby swimmer"
    http://www.babyswimmer.eu/index.htm
It doesn't say much and doesn't go into safety.
I've tried looking to see if there is an Australian seller, but can't, most things online I read is of Australian mums buying them off ebay or amazon.

    I did find this http://pediatricinsider.wordpress.co...g-neck-collar/
Which pretty much sums up how I feel about them!

I would never have used this on my dd.
So many things wrong with it all :what:

Nope no nope but there will be idiots who use them and then wonder why something happens to their baby.

That just looks wrong. Way too many things can go wrong with these. I feel anxious just looking at them, no way would I use one!

The first thing a baby will do is splash - which means the area right around them will just fill with water. Yay, their own little mini pool to drown in while safe in the big pool!

    Terrible invention!

I cannot believe something like this is actually allowed to be sold.
