Played with barbies, lego a lot!
Jumped on the trampoline and made up games on it.
Played cars/trucks in the dirt with my brother.
We had a pool so most of summer was spent in it playing various games like pool pony races and we'd score each other on jumps into the pool or time each other doing silly stuff.
We also made a bike track on a spare lot across from our house.

Played on the trampoline and did like others and made up games and ran around the garden all day long. Swam in the pool in summer, played schools and doctors, played dolls and board games. My sister is a lot older than me, so I played with the girl across the road or had friends over. Loved my childhood!!

Rode our bikes everywhere, would ride to friends houses in succession to pick them up then ride around together. Played in the reserve a lot next to our house, walked to the "waterfall" near our house and caught tadpoles in winter. Forced my brothers to play doctors and barbies, was forced to play star wars and pirate Lego and "armies" (my brother is now in the army!) and in summer spent everyday all day in our pool playing silly games. Roller skating. And reading, we always read a lot as kids. Memories! We had a great childhood

Roamed the neighbourhood with friends either on foot or on our bikes.
Went to the corner deli for $1 worth of 1c lollies and then went to the park to divide and devour our spoils.
Baked pikelets and chocolate cakes.
Played school and hospital and barbies.
Hung out at the beach or pool all day.
Went fishing off the wharf.
Played under the sprinkler.
Read books - BSC and Anastasia Krupniks were my faves.

I lived on a farm ... So we had cubbies, and climbed trees, rode bikes and went hiking in the bush.
Me and my sister and another friend all had a massive Barbie collection which we played a lot.
But mostly outside.

Tennis on the road (quiet street)
play in the cubby
make up shops
play traffic and draw roads with chalk on the concrete
"gladiators" in the backyard
kick the footy
basketball in the carport
play with neighbourhood kids
Mucked around at the creek
hired videos in the school hols while mum worked 9-2pm
we were outdoor kids. I think we drove mum crazy inside so she booted us out as much as possible while she did her housework and what not (never actually knew what she did all day hehehe) but we came in for meals and when the street lights went off.

Made gardens and grew vegetables, built chicken coop out of my grandfather's scrap heap (farmer) and had laying chooks, built billy cart - also out of scraps, rode bikes, swam in waterholes, camping/hiking, backyard cricket/soccer/totem tennis, played sports, played musical instruments, rode horses, changed my room around!

I was an odd kid. Id play games like monopoly and trouble and pretend to be different people lol.
I should add I was mostly an only child with a nutty mother.

-My brother & I used to always play Barbies and Biker Mice
-I had the Fisher Price 'my loving family' set up and would spend hours in my room with them
-Ride my bike with friends
-Skateboard or rollerblade at the skate park/on our skate ramps at home
-Read, read, read! I've always loved books
-Play in my cubby house, on the trampoline or swing set
-Go for bush walks
We had Internet and gaming consoles growing up, but it didn't effect our ability to amuse ourselves in other ways. In fact, we hardly ever used them.
I think the whole 'technology is making our kids lazy' is the biggest cop out.
