Hi dd has just turned 2 and looking to toilet train soon. How do you know when to start and how do you go about it? TIA

I've found this author's advice really useful - http://www.jamieglowacki.com/blog/ She does have an e-book for sale but her blog is full of useful tips that you can read if you don't want to buy the book.
