Well I'm on CD21 currently, only tracking CM and no clue whether I O'd CD15 or CD 19...it's been a weird one this month, I definitely think I'm going to pick up some OPKs and a BT for next cycle if we haven't been lucky.

Just going to try and find something to occupy myself until AF is due I think, no early testing for me. How's the 2ww treating everyone else?

Does anyone use the maybe baby saliva ferning tester? If so what do you think of it, it it worth the $50? I probably spend that much on opks anyway....

I have an "ovuscope" brand that was $35. It's a microscope so don't think there's much difference between brands in terms if quality. It's fairly accurate and when I used it at the same time as opk they corresponded exactly. I it's usually best used in conjunction with bbt charting to get an exact pinpoint of ovulation but when done correctly, is as accurate as opks. It takes some practice to get a good saliva sample onto the lens that doesn't have any bubbles in it or that is placed clearly, but is good once you get the hang of it.

I do @tazz475 . It doesn't work for me personally. I randomly fern throughout my whole cycle. But I guess you won't know if it works for you till you try it.

As @jussi said, it can be tricky at first and also good to use as well as bbt

some do it twice a day. Some people's luteal hormone surge only lasts a couple hours, and is hard to 'catch' on an opk, so they need to do them more frequently. I personally only have to do it once a day and i always get my positive. But i usually use a saliva microscope instead

Lots of women show ferning around AF as well. THis is due to surges in oestrogen. Basically what happens, is that a surge in oestrogen causes your body to produce certain salts in your saliva. The ferning pattern is basically tiny salt crystals that form as your saliva dries.

Anyone have an idea what it could mean when at 7dpo your cm stops being creamy and becomes watery?
