    Default Family Holiday in Qld?

We just moved to the Gold Coast a little while ago. I am wanting some suggestions for a nice place in QLD not on the Gold Coast to go for a short break with the kids.

There's heaps of awesome farm stays around. Kids can feed animals, ride horses, cook, relax, go fishing.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland, maybe a farm stay. Australia zoo is also in that area.

We love getting out to the country and regularly go to kilcoy. You can stay at farm stay style places or there's leopard tree lodge which is a house on a huge property you can rent for a short stay (this is what we usually do). There aren't many formal attractions just nature, but Somerset dam isn't too far if you want water sports.
