Could you have nipple thrush on top of the mastitis? That causes toe curling pain when attaching bub and from memory during let down. You can buy cream for it at the pharmacy. With the mastitis I found feeding bub in different positions really helped clear the lumps so maybe try moving the pump (a bit awkward) or hand expressing in the shower from different areas. Also an electric toothbrush on the lumps can help.

Thank you so much for the advice everyone, I am back at 100% I started nursing my son again yesterday, pumping afterward to empty. It was completely pain free and I am so very happy and blessed(:
