Update: we stopped bottles in bed as of last night and he had no trouble falling asleep, no tears at all. So that was nice.
He woke uo 4 times whinging but didn't cry and resettled on his own. But he is also in a toddler bed now as of Thursday.
So still waking up but obviously doesn't need the bottles which is good.
