I'm trying to think of ideas of TV shows or movies to watch with the kids.
Kids are 3 and 7. I'm after ideas that are both child and adult friendly.

What TV do you watch with your kids?

We watch friends (not the 100th episode or the one with the Armidillo as they both make references about Santa not being real...but the other episodes are fine) and we watched the voice kids. We also like Australia's Got Talent when it's on. We used to watch the block but it's not as family friendly these days so we stopped that.
As for movies I like the classics from my childhood - ET, The Neverending Story, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz etc.

We watch Wallace and Gromit, Masterchef and MKR, Horrible Histories. Movies - all the pixar ones plus things like The Princess Bride, Drop Dead Fred, The Goonies, Ever After, We Bought a Zoo, Totoro, Spirited Away, Frozen (sigh), School of Rock, The Mighty Ducks, Neverending Story, The Black Stallion

My kids are 9 and 4 and we watch a lot of ABC iView and BBc iplayer shows like: Dinosaur Detectives, Wallace and Gromit, Quest, Horrible Histories, Backyard Science, Dragon Riders of Berk. We also watch some of our favourite old shows like The Goodies (only the cleaner episodes), Monkey, Voltron (the lions one), She Ra, Fraggle Rock, The Muppet Show. I was heartbroken to see Astroboy was back on tv but with different music; its just not the same without the "Astroboy, Aaaaastroboy' song at the start, lol.
Movies: All the popular Pixar/Disney ones. Plus Neverending Story, Labyrinth (too scary for the younger one, but my older child loves it), Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Princess Bride, and Aristocats.

Our Friday night ritual now is Better Homes and Gardens. My kids are 9,7 and 4. Sometimes I watch Horrible Histories with them, or Disney movies.

Kids pretty much watch whatever we watch. Weeknights its abc4kids during the day then news, big bang theory, the block, the voice, footy. On weekends we usually have a movie day/night and they love Grown Ups, Frozen, Rio 1 &2.

My boys love family feud. Addicted. I don't know why, but it is nice to sit and watch it with them!
