    I was talking to my sister who said you might benefit from ring and finding out if the base if they do actually offer the services he needs. Their website isn't up to date in the service they actually offer. It says the offer stuff she has to come here or Brisbane for.

    @anewme from what mum has said with the upgrades they should be able to, depending on exactly what he needs. She deals with the oncology department there herself as well.

    That's good. I noticed the new upgrade isn't all its cracked up to be. A lot of the oncology clinic are just nurse clinics.

    I am sorry she is going through this too.

    There is plenty of research now suggesting that nurse led clinics have very positive impacts on patient outcomes. I think this is a good thing!

    I would agree In a big city where the nurse had access to the Dr's if needed. But when the are 5 hours drive away I am not so sure.

    Anyhow Lil miss only you and him know what will work for your family. My point was just make sure you understand what's available before you move.
