Wound love to see a photo! How good are passion fruit vines? You have a massive haul for someone that lives on a small block well done

Almai - you really do have a lot growing for a normal yard! I'm impressed, sounds beautiful!!!

We have one massive passionfruit vine, I decided to buy 3 more vines because it just looks so beautiful the way it's growing. Anyways two were the same type & the third was a different type (I can't remember exactly what they were). Anyways bugs completely demolished the two within days.. whereas the 3rd (different type one) was completely left alone! I wonder why they didn't go near that one!!!!

I read through this thread and it gave me so much motivation. I planted a veggie patch in one of my garden beds, and got some chickens. Such a calming force in suburbia. Have been looking at land in the country, but more for a get away at this stage. I think my kids would miss out on too much moving while they do so many extra curricular things. Oh well done!! You don't need a farm to be a farmer!
That is so fantastic that you brought a couple of things to your life and found the compromise. What are you going to plant??

I have a small amount of a lot of things... And some things aren't even growing yet... I just get excited when I cut up a fruit and see seeds! I run out and plant them haha. My cherry tomatoes are the only thing to grow well so far that didn't come from a packet.
    I'll take some photos tomorrow

My kids were so excited. I let them pick. We'll see how they go. Probably the wrong seasons and all but I still thought we'd try. We planted carrots, cauliflower, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, strawberries and broccoli.

My chicken pics didn't work before.

When we buy our acreage we will probably leave this veggie garden at this house and make new one. DP has done a great job with this
