So yesterday after 18.5 months of bliss AF decided to come back to visit.
DD is 9.5 months old and still BF (a lot!).
Prepregnancy I suffered terribly from dysmenorrhea. This first period I've has next to no pain (fingers crossed it stays that way!) but boy has there been a lot of blood.
Anybody else have a massive bleed for their first return of AF, did it settle down?

Hey there, yes my first AF (17 months from LMP) was a doozy! I thought I was hemorrhaging! (?sp) I was going through a tampon almost every 1-2 hours for day 1 & 2. And had to wear a pad also. It did settle down though and so far since I have had 3 reasonably normal AF's with one heavy day (usually day 2 for me) but not as heavy as my first cycle back. Have had no pain which is good also. Hope yours doesn't give you too much grief! I had mixed emotions when mine came back, sad that I had to think about a period again every month but excited that we could start trying again soon. Good luck and take care of yourself x
