Hi All, I would like to see if anyone can help with my research below
Topic - "how do you find tutors or music teachers for your children and why?"
1. Flyers in letterbox (by tutors)
2. Online (Google, other website ___________, please specify)
3. Words of Mouth
4. Supermarket notice board
Objective: To discover a new and easy way for parents to find local tutors
A friend of mine wanted to send her son to learn piano at school, but he didn't get in as many students applied for it. And she didn't know anyone who knows a piano teacher. One day she received a flyer from a music teacher and contacted her and now her son is learning piano from that piano teacher. Then I started thinking to build a website that connects parents, tutors and music teachers, a place where you will see all tutor's cv and contacts.
I am still in the process of creating the website, but please feel free to visit and give us your feedback. Our website is www.tutorsfield.com.au.
I am thinking a "review function" would be nice as it will give parents another angle to look at the tutor and the service.
Thank you all

Thank you very much for letting me know! It would be interesting to see when we get more people's feedback.
I find gumtree a little bit hard when searching for tutor and some of them may just provide 1 or 2 lines of description of their tuition services. The other thing that I don't like using gumtree is that I cannot refine my search, e.g. as I would prefer female tutor for my daughter.
Have you tried websites like Better Education or Tutor Finder? I tried those and I find it better than Gumtree but still not quite user friendly. That's why I started think to build my website.
