Hopefullyanotherbaby I'm so sorry you're worried about the cramping, I really hope it all turns out ok for you. Dr Allan Beer's book is very strong on the ridiculousness of doctors calling recurrent miscarriages "bad luck"... He says that is simply not true & not a scientific diagnosis, doctors don't tell cancer or diabetes etc patients it was bad luck, why then is infertility? How & why is that acceptable? I really urge you to consult with Dr Matthias in conjunction with Genea. Dr Alison Gee believes in NK cells & will work with Dr M's protocol. If YOU believe in NK then go to a doctor who does too otherwise you'll be in for more grief. I hope you don't have to & this pregnancy sticks!!!

@PreciousHeart - thanks... I am currently through ivfa and my fertility specialist does believe in a way as she has put me on the bondi protocol so she isn't totally convinced but she does have patients that do see dr m as well!!!! If this doesn't work I will make my appointment with dr m.... I just hope the cramps is from high progesterone and something else but I have lost all pregancy feelings tonight also!!!! I am seriously turning into someone I don't know with bipolar!!!

Oh no Hopefullyanotherbaby, hang in there - I know that feeling when you think it's all stopped... When will you have more bloods? Your progesterone level is crazy high, that surely would cause cramps or something? Hope you get good news soon! Xxx

Hi Miissilina..it can happen for sure. I had everything going on..genetic/age/thyroid/ immune (high nk blds/ uterine, hetero and confirmed clotting issues in my pregnancies and some other bld anomalies). Was feeling the same as you, each time I threw so much at it and it certainly wore me down at times. Travelling on top of it too was a lot for me...but I am testament as are others. You can only give it your very best and will know your limits. I thought that was it , when it finally happened.
I too second precious heart, a dr believing in immune is really helpful but not impossible (not revealing all helps with those ones). I had Dr G too who was the one who first undertook biopsy when others dismissed..she was amazing for me and tried different stim protocols to help with quslity/ quantity. For me, my cycles at Genea were always better. dr G does believe in nk and treats, not as aggressive as Dr M in terms of dosage and frequency of intralipids. She was fine with me working alongside him. I had to do FETs given cgh testing and these were largely unmedicated.
I was initially told I had quality issues (before immune confirmed) so my prep in lead up to cycles included dhea/ coq10 (ubiquinol)/ inositol (not for transfers though) and aspirin (stopped before transfer). Immune protocols were pretty standard, clexane 40mg, pred 25 upped to 30 at transfer, prog 800mg and intralipids 7 days prior to fet. However I was on pred for months prior though due to virus/thyroid so that could have suppressed things for longer. I did do glutein free this time for fet. Sooo many things I know. Do what feels right for you though, it's important to be/feel comfortable with things. All the best. Sincerely TT

Thanks for sharing your story TerrificTezza... How long were you gluten free before FET? I'm doing that this time cause I read Dr Braverman's website saying that gluten causes dendritic cells to mature which then run to the lymph and tell it to kind of attack an embryo... He says that neupogen stops maturation of dendritic cells... He advises gluten free diet for immune issues re fertility. You are a wonderful success story, congratulations on your perseverance and strength!!!

Yes, I had the lower hospital cover while at the lower cost westmead ivf, I'm at ivfa now seeing dr sacks, I only upped ,y private health insurance in June, so it won't cover much, but oh well. I'm on day 6 of stims in my first bank cycle. Bt after 4 inj was 525 for e2. I looked it up and past cycles were similar, but at later dates (day 6 of stims) so you never know. Another bt and first us on Monday.

Kiwi & Nidhu, thinking of you both and I'm sure it's so hard for you both not to stress, but do try and hopefully your Drs are monitoring you closely.

Hopefor, thinking of you too, I think you should go and have another blood test tomorrow if only for your own piece of mind.

For us "immunies" nothing seems to go smoothly for us, we seem to have a lot more bumps in the road than others, but we are strong and persistent and that's why our dreams will come true in the end. If we didn't believe it we wouldn't be here putting ourselves through this rollercoaster emotional journey.

Well ladies - cramps still there I'm laying down now resting which is good but have more time on my hands to think and worry. Called the nurses thus morning and they were lovely said I could come in so had bloods done at 10 and will hopefully get results back this afternoon!!!!!! Feeling very anxious as not sure how I would cope with 4th loss

Just got results from nurses - levels have increased from 1712 on Thursday to 6275 today so it must be everything changing!!!!!! I pray the numbers are increasing so much that it's a good sign.
