Default Breaking lease literally 2 weeks after re-signing?? HELP

    Hi all,

So we were kind of wrangled by our Real Estate into re-signing our lease for another 6 months, even though DH had a high chance of getting a new job and having to relocate.
So we signed it for them, and yep, you guessed it - DH got offered the new position today.

We signed on the 4th Aug, it's now the 14th... Is there any clause to breaking lease? We don't want to be stuck paying both until they find another renter. To be honest, I'm a bit peeved because they were to forceful with us to sign knowing we would have to leave soon...

Thanks in advance for any advice

PS - DH is on the phone to the RTA as a posted this, but I'm not sure if we will get through before 5pm. I thought someone might have an idea here. We're in QLD
