Default Anyone's labor lasted less than an hour?

Hi all, this is my third pregnancy and he will be due on Christmas Day.
I have to go somewhere 1 week before due date that's about 1.5 hours drive.
I am a bit nervous about going in case baby comes early.
With my first I was induced. 24 hour labor.
With my second by the time I feel I was in labor (started having any contractions) I was already 5cm dilated and 3 hours of labor, she would've came earlier if I let the midwife break my water earlier.
So I am hoping the third one will at least take a good 3 hours too.

Anyone had a very quick labor from the moment you realized that you are in labor?
Anyone had baby in the car?

My 3rd came very quick....45 mins! I was lucky to just make it to hospital but i didn't make it to the bed lol I was in shock afterwards....very quick. But i was already 3cms dilated 2days prior but nothing was happening. #4 was 1.5 hrs and #5 was another 45 min quick labour but we lived 10mins from the hospital.

No personal experience, but for my mum, her second labour was quicker than her first, but her third labour was much longer than her second!

I'd see if you can be checked for dilation etc just before you go - if nothing us happening then most likely you'll be fine

my first was typical 17 hours +
my second was under 3 hours
my third was a 3 day induction saga ending in a csection - and I put it down to my body not being ready (not engaged, not ripe, no dilation prior to induction starting, posterior bub). if the planets were aligned and bub/body was ready, he would of flown out of me lol

Yeah my second was 47mins. Was induced so at hospital already. Wouldn't have been able to get in a car from the first contraction though. I was also in shock for hours afterwards 😱
