I will highly recommend Dr. Gareth Westen. He is amazing. We both DH and me have infertility issues. He is very professional and nice person too. For another baby we will definitely go to him.

Gareth looks quite young for an FS/Ob. Up and coming by the sounds of it. I think u'll b in good hands at Monash whoever u choose.

Gareth took over the practice from Mac Talbot, he was legendary in the fertility/IVF world and helped me conceive my DD. I saw Gareth a couple times after Mac retired as he had all my info from when I was Mac's patient but in the end it was Lynn Burmeister who got me the results (ie pregnant).

But I was initially just doing clomid with Gareth so I haven't had ivf experience with him. I'm glad to hear he's great!

Dr Sam Sabary. He Is so amaZing. I have had 4 pregnancies. One live birth. 2 ectopics. One was a rupture and the other one dr Sabary saved my last tube. Then a "miscarriage." We knew something was wrong with bubba. And then went for an ultrasound and bubs little heart had stopped beating. Then dr Sabary because i have seen him for so many years, did the d&c for free that night before he flew out the next day to the USA. And he cried when we saw our lifeless baby on the screen and punched the table. He is so amazing. He did testing on bub for free to find out what happened because he felt so bad. Bubba had trisomy 16. And he was so amazing through it all. He also delivered our precious DD. And helped us through 4 years of unexplained infertility. Couldn't speak higher. X

Thankyou everyone for sharing your amazing stories! It really sounds like no matter who you go with at monash they are all amazing. Ive heard lots of disappointment at mivf which is why I chose monash. I'm trying not to get my hopes up tho because nothing is guaranteed but I think I'll be in good hands!

I actually went with Lynn Burmeister for my IVF treatment and after 4 transfers and a successful pregnancy I am now with Gareth as my obstetrician (since Lynn does not do obstetrics). I am very happy with Gareth (he also did my successful transfer - the Monash doctors do this on a rotational basis). Good luck on your journey!
