Congrats on finding out the genders Bao a pigeon pair! I think it was Misti that has the bub with the single cord... but could be wrong.

Yep, Bao that was me. I have heard SUA is more common with twins. It's also more common with girls, so even though we don't know the sex our bubs is more likely to be a girl. If you have any questions feel free to ask. At this stage our bubs is a bit below normal size but they say it won't really have an effect until the 3rd tri. I'm having regular growth scans to keep an eye on it but I imagine with twins you'll have more regular checks anyway? Congrats in the pigeon pair BTW, that's great news.

Thanks Em! How are you going?
Thanks so much Misti if it only affects 3rd tri I'll be super happy. A little scary, but it's so nice to hear it doesn't cause too much trouble. Do you know if sua affects placena function? Do you know if theres much chance of a block in the single artery? Surely because we only have one artery surely nature would ensure it wouldn't block up? I'mso glad your bubby is doing well. Flower, fingers crossed that you make it those 2 extra weeks. Even 32 is still great. Thinking of you. It is funny Bayside hey how we've all got pigeon pairs.

Megs how did today go? Thinking of you X

You poor thing Wish! It's funny how easy it is to forget the big bulge.
    Congratulations Bao! So exciting!

Congrats on the pigeon pair @baoloveludo!
Sorry to hear you are another SUA sufferer. But your in good company.

Had some cramping this arvo so the hospital wanted me to come in, turns out to be a pulled ligament combined with some round ligament pain so nothing to be concerned about.

Congratulations Bao on the boy and girl twinnies, that's so exciting! And yes my boy has a single artery too. I think if it forms that way early, it has less chance of a problem as the placenta compensates. I expect you will get more growth ultrasounds like misti has said. I asked about the chance of the other artery blocking off and they said no, they haven't seen that happen.

Also thinking of you megsarama, hope all went well today x
