Default Really quick FTB but still waiting childcare benefit and rebate

Hi There - we came up under what I estimated our income to be and seriously 3 days later the FTB arrears came in our bank account. Was seriously surprised. My only question is that it doesnt mention childcare arrears which im assuming I am entitled to....this is my first year with a child in daycare so im just curious is if it is normally seperate for families? I dont mind waiting but im not sure if it has been done and it all comes in the FTB or if I can expect any more arrears?

Centrelink will do a reconciliation once you have put in your tax returns. They can take a few weeks to do the reconciliation. Once it has been done any money's they owe you will be paid to you or any money you owe them will be taken from your tax return.

Yeah I did my tax returns and as I mentioned the FTB was really super quick....I just assumed they did it all together...was just wondering if anyone else had a delay between one or the other????

They are doing it differently this year and have only started paying out the ccb and ccr sups from the 28/7. I had my ftb sups paid out a couple of weeks ago and got my child care sups yesterday.

Yep, my FTB always goes in just days after my tax return is submitted (I get mine all at end of year) but it takes ages for the CCB/CCR adjustments to go through. I think they need to wait until they have all the final statements for the FY from the daycare.
