    i am.

I am am back for my 3rd fresh cycle.

new clinic, new me (well 30kg lighter from 2012) and new hope.

our new clinic does high digital magnification of sperm, and seeing as that is where our issue lies, I feel that this could be our time.

just waiting for my period to arrive to start my antagonist cycle.

hoping for a BFP for our 5 year wedding anniversary in early October.

to say I am nervous is an understatement - 2 fresh failed and 1 frozen failed and I am scared but feel positive.

    loving my new clinic.

    good luck to all xxx
Good luck everything crossed for you and well done on losing 30kg!!!

@jeb8303 - congratulations on losing 30kg. That is a significant achievement and hopefully that boosts your chances of success this time round.
@Rocky27 - I am so sorry your clinic messed you around this cycle. Must be beyond frustrating. I would have had a couple of wines myself.

Dragged myself out of bed before 6 for bootcamp, ugh. It is chilly in Sydney this morning, brrrr. Now thinking that I need to go grocery shopping - a boiled egg and a dose of FSH is not the breakfast of champions!

(Bongley, thanks for the babydust )

Fantastic news @ladybug14! Hope they continue hatching and then stick well.

Also didn't feel so bad buying some new stretchy pants after you guys said you also do that. Was just wearing my jeans unbuttoned and have already had a most embarrassing moment ...

Just got the phone call saying my levels were at 1500 yay!! Triggering tonight and then ET scheduled for Tuesday! Never been more excited to have yet more injections.

    Hi all,
EPU went well. I got 9 and just found out 7 fertilized😊. Better than last time (4/3) so very happy. Can anyone share their experience with blastocyst? I am wondering how many last until day 5? 😳
    Xx

@wannabeamum... Wow that's great fertilisation numbers! Great job

I got 13 eggs, 12 fertilised and then 8 made it to day 5. Hope you have just as much luck.

That's great by you too! Thanks. I am just a bit anxious of how many are going to last. I've never done 5 day transfer before and don't know too much about how many could or should last.

That's great @Excited1! Nothing like getting the ball rolling. Enjoy your last week of not being preg!

That's a great haul @wannabeamum. My number of day 5s have all been so different. Fingers and toes crossed for lots of lovely blasts.

AFM 1dp5dt and going nuts already!!! Oh dear!

It really varies from person to person. I usually have a good number collected (around 10) and fertilised (around 8) but only end up with about 2 at day five and 1 transfered, none frozen (the 2nd blasty is never good enough to freeze). Been very similar for all 7 of my cycles. I am grateful to have anything to transfer as I know some people don't even get that.

I hope yours don't drop off as badly as mine do!

    Hi @Wannabeamumma2014 my stats were:

    10 eggs
    8 mature
    8 fertilised
4 embryos made it to day 5 (two hatching blasts and two expanded blasts).

    Of those four:
    1 transferred (BFP then miscarriage)
1 on board and currently positive POAS
    2 still in the fridge

I think the average is to expect it about half to a third to make it. But it depends on your starting egg and sperm quality as well as the clinic.

Your clinic will have stats on their performance in getting embryos to day five so you should be able to ask them what the average is.

Thank you. I guess the hardest thing to have in this process is patience! How many eggs am I going to collect? How many are going to fertilize? How many are going to last? Then there is the 2WW. I don't know how people stay so calm!!! Sunday is transfer day so I will find out more then. Today I just have to be happy that 7 fertilized!.
