Hi ange111,
yes that's what we're doing although we have a known issue were testing for- balanced chromosome translocation
I've done 3 stim cycles at WFC with a month off in between to bank the embryos then we'll defrosting & test them all in a couple of weeks time.
Haven't experienced the PGD testing side of things yet, we had a appointment with Viafit (the PGD lab) to sign the consent form between the stim cycles, it wasn't particularly useful & didn't tell us anything we didn't already know
Was a bit intense/annoying doing the 3 stim cycles (Jan, mar & may 2016) but hopefully it pays off by getting us a good number to send for testing

Sorry WFC didn't offer pgd while I was there, that is one of the reasons I changed clinics.

I've seen Dr Bradbury, Dr Smith and Dr Fong at some stage and couldn't fault any of them. I suspect Dr Smith would be hard to get into though

Dr Smith was the only doctor I saw at Westmead when I did my IVF
He joked that my only egg looked so good it could bring me quads !
I ended up with identical twins !

I've only seen Dr Fong who was able to get me pregnant first go with all my hormones all over the place after stimming . She was thorough in all her explanations and made me and hubby feel comfortable from day one ...
I only met Dr Smith on transfer day as he was in charge of the transfer and boy was he a nice man . Chatting away to my hubby in the transfer room about the day 5 blast they transferred and making hubby feel he was part of the transfer too .

ivf positive
Hi everyone, so my first cycle went well.
We had 14 eggs and 6 embryos out of them. One transferred on day 5 and pregnancy test is positive. Good news!
I am now trying to figure out what is next? Should we talk to the nurse again or go to the GP so they can take it from here.
