    Default Robotic vacuum cleaner recommendations?

I'm thinking of getting one just for the everyday crumbs, dust from the woolen carpet etc.. Will still use a Dyson once or twice a week.. So do you have one? Are they any good? Do you need to pay a lot for better results? Would love to hear your experiences, Tia

    I have the roomba.

    I love it.

You definitely need to give a proper vacuum on hard floors as dust builds up in the corners of the room.

I bought it on tvsn but after telling them I couldn't afford it they dropped the price by $300 so definitely shop around and see what you can find.

We have a roomba and it's great. Apart from scaring my DS and the cat it does a great job. Having a cat, I do still have to do a 'big' vaccum with the dyson once a week/fortnight but the roomba picks up the majority of crumbs, dust and hair a couple of times a week. I just set it to go on when we leave and when it starts to run out of battery it goes to it's home base to recharge itself. I love it and should use it more.
