I'm going to go against the grain and say I loved Offspring but I think they should just leave it alone now. I adore Asher Keddie but Nina's neuroticism was just a bit OTT and boring by the end. I loved the Billie and Martin characters and think Eddie Perfect is fabulously hot, so I'll probably still watch it. But I just feel like it's run its course. Plus, I'm still dirty about them killing off Patrick.

"“As far as I know, most of the cast is back,” Lachy Hulme, who plays the quirky doctor Martin Clegg, revealed to News Corp Australia. "I believe almost everyone will be returning. I didn’t hesitate at all.” While he wouldn’t elaborate on characters and storylines, Hulme said filming would begin in about six months’ time. A team of writers is “padlocked away in a room” at the moment developing scripts, he said. While the core cast might be coming back, two key creatives are not — creator Debra Oswald and writer Michael Lucas. Season five’s finalise neatly wrapped up the major plots and Oswald said on Twitter that’s where she preferred to leave things."

I'm excited and scared. What if they f it up? It ended so perfectly. It had better be good or half of Australia will be gunning for the new producers/writers!

I watched the last episode during the week. Oh the tears! I can't wait to see what's going on in the Proudman clan!

I watched the last season again last week as well, so sad!!

I'm really torn, it ended so nicely but I'm really interested to see how Nina and Leo turn out - that part seemed really rushed. And seeing Philip as a father at his age 😂.

Yes! Philip as a new dad is going to be awesome! I hope the whole cast is back, I can't imagine it without any of them in it.

This is me too. I hope they all come back (except Patrick, that would be weird) and there's no one missing with some dodgy explanation of where they went.

They'll probably 'move to Perth' like they always did in Home & Away 😂
